Nitto Denko Corporation, a Japan-based global leader in high-performance materials, has long been at the forefront of technological innovation in areas such as tapes, films, optical materials, and medical products. Recognized repeatedly as one of Clarivate's "Top 100 Global Innovators," the company is renowned for its continuous innovation and precision manufacturing capabilities.
Nitto Future Innovation Research Center developed a strong interest in liquid gating technology during its advanced materials research and proactively contacted Professor Hou. Subsequently, a delegation led by the director of the institute specially visited Xiamen University. During the visit, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with Professor Hou on this technology, toured the relevant laboratories and experimental facilities, and expressed strong expectations for deeper collaboration with our team in the future.

Professor Hou was invited to attend the 2025 Chinese Chemical Letters Editor-in-Chief/Associate Editor-in-Chief Meeting, where he delivered a keynote speech on "Bioinspired Multiscale Nanochannels." At the meeting, he was appointed as the Executive Editor (Physical Chemistry) of the Chinese Chemical Letters Editorial Board.
